New – Scenic 6 Miler

Memorial Park has some of the best views of the Mississippi River Valley and the City of Red Wing, so we have decided to offer a new race to take advantage of them and give participants something new to see.  The Scenic 6 Miler will begin at Mississippi National Golf Link, just like all the other races, wind its way up the bluff and through the woods to the Lower Quarry.  Participants will then race up Skyline Drive, run past the Memorial Park Tower, by the recently renovated overlook, and back down Skyline Drive to the Memorial Park Prairies.  Views included during this loop are:  He Mni Can-Barn Bluff, Mississippi River, Downtown Red Wing, and the Athletic Field neighborhoods.  Add in the fall colors and this route is guaranteed to knock your socks off!
